Today we paid a visit to the Poilane boulangerie, where they take their bread very seriously. For a bread-head like Louise, the Poilane bakery is right at the top of France's incomparable bread culture. Au revior Berlin, bonjour Paris! We've finally come full circle, returning to the city where it all began. This morning's flight was a bit dodgy as the unsettled weather in Paris meant gusting winds as we were landing. Today took a bit of a morbid turn; we visited the catacombs where there are over 6 million Parisians buried, before visiting Pere la Chaise to drop in on an old friend. Nothing like a graveyard to help give you that seize the day attitude!

Upon safe arrival in Paris, these bleary eyed travelers persevered, forgoing sleep in favour of a long and rewarding foot-trek around the city. The scenery, the people, the cheese; what more could you ask for?
