Day 143

We got the MRT into the CBD and decided that today would be a shopping day just without any money. We stopped at most of the shops with massage chairs and the shops assistants started to recognise us as we had been in so many times.

We heard that Singapore had some excellent discounts on eletrical goods in Chinatown and Al fancied a PSP for the journey home, however he had to settle for a smoothie while Lorna her eyebrows threaded.

After spending a while in Asia we felt brave and decided to vary our diet and picked a beef dish and some noodles for lunch. However, the beef was still alive and not looking healthy so we shared the noodles and left hungry.

We carried on around the shops and picked up a few more gifts for the twins and a couple more scarves for our mums and Lorna.

On the way back we realised that our hotel, called Hotel Orchid, was in the middle of Geylang the red light district and you could pay by the hour for the room.
