Hiya!!
First things first, most important.. The famous lass in our building.. I'm sorry to say we did not act on any of the suggestions received on how to spot / photograph the celebrity. I did like the ideas though, so snaps on that! Now we're still not 100% sure who it was, but we're quite certain it was Katarina Dailyman (the 18yr old model who split up the Rolling Stones dudes marriage) and we think she's living upstairs with a friend, not the Rolling Stones dude. We thought she'd moved out, cause theres been no paps etc but Panda thought she saw her Thursday arv, so she must just be old news now. Even though shes only a D grade celeb, it was still super exciting not knowing and having the paps at our front gate all the time :)
Anyways now that's out the way, time to blog.. hmmm lets see.. whats been happening.. Michael came over last week, so we spent the week lazing about London, I finally saw some of the London Sites (Big Ben etc.. which may I say is nicer then I thought it would be, it was pretty sweet), we went to Brighton (they say it's a beach location.. but the only sand I saw was on the volleyball court.. so not a beach) for a few days, which we timed perfectly because there was a heat wave. Yes that's right, it actually gets hot in England, it was so bad, cause everywhere's set up for the cold, so unless your outside its stuffy and gross and it gets muggy here. We even bought a fan. Who even knew the Uk would have a need for fans. Anyways, Brighton's pretty awesome there's like a fair type thing on the peir, and beachfront shops/pubs are set up under the main road (which is pretty awesome) and then there's streets and streets of shops, pubs and restaurants, every day you go out you find different shops you hadn't seen before. Oh and the nicest waffles and homemade ice-cream.. yum!!
At the moment we're (Sarah/Steve/Michael & I) planning our travel in September / October around when Sars & Steve's wedding. Looks like we're roadtrippin from London to Belgium to Holland to Germany, which will include a stopover in Munchen (or Munich) for Oktoberfest!! And then back to London. I think we're cutting the trip a few days shorter then originally planned, so we might have to skip a country or cut down the number of Germany sites and stopovers. But its gonna be awesome!!
Hmm, what else to say.. the weather here is still crazy. Hot, cold, Rainy, Windy. One thing I've noticed is you can't read the weather like you can in Oz. You know at home how you can look at the sky and know if its gonna rain or not, or its super humid so you know its gonna rain etc. Can't do that here, I've even asked locals, but they say you can't read it, it just does what it wants. CRAZY!
Anyways I dont have anything more to say really and I think you guys should really get back to work!! enjoy the photos I've finally added :) snaps!! (you can look at them before going back to work), as you can tell theres many more to come (about 13 more countries) and I'll blog again soon.. maybe.. if your lucky.. and if i can be arsed.. which may or may not happen.. so the moral of the story.. hope your happy with this pretty boring (esp compared to the last) blog, cause you might not get another one.. until have something to say.
Peace!
Ps.. We have a slightly unwanted pet we named Bruno.. Yikes!!
