So, i started the new job last tuesday and its going swimmingly! Its a government job, that pays okay and is a 10 - 15 min walk from where i live, which is awesome!! dont have to pay for the tube. i have nothing to do with the clients who come in, which is really good, but i have to type up some of their case studies, which is disturbing. anyways im th pa to 5 ppl so i do their diary bookings and audio typing etc. the last chick mustve left in a hurry cause there was lots of work left on her desk and no one knew what had been done. So the first few days had a few frustrating moments because i would spend a few hours working my way through different documents, only to find out they had already been done, so id have to delete them!! Its not so bad now cause im almost through the work that was left on her desk and ive cleaned up her electronic filing system so you can actually find files and im almost through her overflowing inbox. but yeah the people seem friendly enough and i share a small office with this dude who keeps me entertained at times throughout the day, my phone barely rings and when it does its usually someone returning my call, so im loving that!!
apart from that not much is knew, now that im actually earning money we're gonna start going out to dinner once a fortnight, this wednesday night were going to a tapas restaurant a couple of minutes from where we live. so we cant wait!! last night we went to another recording of a radio show, it wasnt as good as the first one, but still enjoyable and free which makes for a cheap night of entertainment. the rain has finally dissappeared today so weve got a nice sunny day, although its starting to cloud over a bit now, so we were having a nice sunny summers day, but it might be raining in a few hours.. despite it being summer, its starting to get cold now.. which makes me think about how cold its gonna be in winter.. brrr!!!
oh the guy i share an office with at work was telling me that theres a large sainsburys (grocery store) about 15 mins walk from where i live (opposite direction to work), i went there yesturday and it was awesome!! there was a deli with a large selection of fresh meat and an in store bakery.. which means freshly baked bread daily!! its awesome!! it made my day!! i was so excited!! who oughta thought fresh bread and a selection of fresh meat could make a girl so happy :) and as happy as that makes me, it still gets one step happier, cause theres also a larger range of groceries!! yay!! so i think its def worth the walk to do my grocery shopping there!! cant wait till next week now!!
oh and i bought green grapes the other day.. they taste like red grapes.. what the!!
anyways got tix to see deathcab for cutie tonight.. so i better jet.
ps thats so not my photo.. but how awesome is it!! its uh bishops bay, loch leven, scotland... maybe another place for my list of places to go
peace out
