Sorry no messages for a while but I have exciting news for you both... You can now go tank paintballing!!! Yes you drive around in tanks and fire enourmous blood coloured paintballs at eachother! (I read it in the Daily Mail so must be true!) Perhaps if you raise more than your planned amount for tusk you could spend the rest on taking the donators...! xxx

Hey guys,
we arrived in Cape Town in 7 weeks & and 6 days and had some trouble because our carnet got lost in Ethiopia! Beeing in Germany is now more boring after the trip!
Good luck

Loved the photos but why do we never get a close up of you Baazy?
Great photos of Henry with and without beard and the animal photography is coming on a treat!
Would comment on the facial hair if we had ever got close enough to see it Baazy! You get the gist!
Have you seen any snakes your grand mother wishes to know.
Wincanton weight watchers will no doubt be impressed with the member in Africa as even long distance weight loss is clearly visible!

Great photos and "Postcards"! Only question - are there any photos of Dan and Amy as the only one I could see was of their Land Rover speeding past yours?!

Great photos today. Talk us through those new facial furnishings!!!! It seems from subsequent photographs that some bandit may have removed them!! So jealous of you out there, while the evenings here get darker and gloomier. Chunga sana - tafadali!! All love Mum

Spoke to Alastair last night and he says that they will be back in internet friendly surroundings either today or tomorrow so he promises that they will post a bunch of photos and hopefully a "postcard" update of what they have been doing as well. Then they will be setting off towards Tanzania.

Sorry, small technical hitch on previous mesage! Any chance of anymore photos for this site? Lookforward to phone call before you leave Nairobi? All well here. Sable did her first days shooting in Norfolk yesterday. Think we are going to have to work on the retriever instincts a little more!! All love Mum

Right, Fat Boy Baird, this simply is not good enough!
Here are us girls diligently cutting back (slightly) on the pringles, chips and maragritas and you have failed let us konw if you have made any real progress at all. This is most dissapointing indeed. The rules state that if you have not lost at least 4 kg by now, it is enema time.
All you have to do is make a five gallon bucket, which you hang from the ceiling of the loo. with a tube (about biro size) and some KY jelly. Fill the bucket with water and insert the tube (you may need a friend to help here, a very good friend is better). I forget what the KY jelly is for but never mind.
Control the flow of water with a bulldog clip, and let it flow baby. You should massage your colon and release. Fluid goes in and out of your backside for about 40 minutes, so I wouldn't advise practicing you golf swing at the same time. You only need to repeat the treatment every 24 hours for about a week to seen a dramatic affect. You get best results if you fast for at least 3 days at the same time.
Do let us know how you get on, won't you?

Bravo Alastair & Henry, keep up the good work! We are following your progress with keen interest and I am green with envy that you are now in lovely Kenya. No hanging around dark alleys late at night in Nairobi, mind you! Take care and continue to travel SAFELY, otherwise your poor Mum will keel over with worry. Best wishes, Nick
