Me again. just thought you'd like to know that after we left the Baro hotel in addis Martin met up with some guys who run an orphanage in northern ethiopia. So he decided to travel to the orphanage with them and help out. Things were apparently going fine until one of the kids was rude to Martin so he tried to throttle the kid. unsurprisingly Martin was kicked out of the orphanage!! We met a kiwi who had met him at the Baro afterwards. When we said that we'd met this crazy belgian called martin this kiwi said "he's not the guy that says you motherf***er all the time is he?" After i picked myself up off the floor after laughing so i hard i said yes! Apparently martin is telling everyone this story with as much gusto as the ethiopia story. good to see some things never change!
see you 'round

Hey guys, been meaning to leave a message for ages but kept forgetting! Anyway, have been having a wicked time since we left you guys in the dark of an early tanzanian morning! went to diving on zanzibar, got up and down kili, went rafting in uganda, went to all the national parks, went to rwanda and will be heading back into tanzania tomorrow. not overly looking forward to it because we pretty much have to do the same route down that we did with you guys, 900 km in 27 hours, bring it on! anyway, cheers for the great photo of me, i am a beautiful man!
good to see you made it safely down, hope beardy didn't spend too many nights sleeping on the floor next to the ladder. take it easy lads, cheers for the laughs (and macbreakfasts) when travelling. Hope to catch up you, Henry, in Bots and maybe later in the year and we'll all hook up in august for muchos beeros in london. cheers

Congratulations chaps, glad you arrived in one piece, any punctures?
I expect it will be non stop parties from now on, laying on the beach and dining at the Waterfront. Have fun you both deserve a little rest although your time at Africat was quite relaxing!!
For your info I have got two cars going and will be working on the Landie today, oh yeah I have only had to repair two punctures since you left.
Drop us a line when you reach Blighty, have fun and don't forget the cardboard mountain here at AfiCat!

FANTASTIC - BRILLIANT !!!!! We heard last night through the Bairds that you had made it. I thought you were still in Namibia involved in sand dunes, trying to get quad bikes off their backs, so it was quite a surprise to be fast forwarded. Do give us a ring Hen. I tried your 'new mobile' number, but was unceremoniously informed by a voice from outer space of your permanent disconnection!!! We have some more numbers of a Capetown family. So get in touch - could mean real beds and hot meals - Actually you'll probably miss those cosy nights in the roof tent!!!! So much love to you both. Mum and Dad
