Today began with a lie in... had breakfast at 9 our latest start yet. Breakfast was lovely everything you needed and the hotel allows us to store our suitcases all day. Happy days! So yet another early start but we did get breakfast today much to mike n dad's happiness. We took a bus tour to Delphi where according to the Greeks it was the centre of the Earth and Appollos sanctuary. This was recommended to me and I am so glad we went. It was spectacular! So ridiculously early start this morning but definitely well worth it for the excursion. We had a cruise to ydra poros and agina. Ydra was beautiful open harbour lots of little gift and souvenir shops with many handmade crafts. Off some if the alleys were a few hidden gems. Then a walk up the hill took us to a bar with steps down to the sea, for a dip and towels provided by the bar. I could have spent all day here. But return to the ferry we did and had a lovely ...

Last night, The Athens Lotus Hotel is lovely and our first accomodation of our trip and yes McCarthys, we found a lovely tapas bar called Taberna Ta Bapena cross the street who served cheap beer n reasonably priced food.
