Thurs 9th October
There's nothing like waking up in your own bed! We had an amazing holiday but it's so good to unpack. Plus, I can't remember the last time I had a long lie haha. On top of that, mum done our washing and made us breakfast, Stephens doing the dishes…. Hello! Do you two want hired haha?
We spent the next couple of days just chilling out. We done the Thursday sesh in our local in Claremont (which we have renamed Reprobate City) and headed down to Fremantle, had drinks in The Little Creatures Brewery and picked up some souvenirs. We did plan to go to Cottlesloe Beach, but our good run of weather eventually ran out and the Saturday was so cloudy!
I managed to find a GLUTEN FREE CAFÉ! Next to my work!!! After all my online searches of gluten free cakes…. Anyway. We decided that since Stephens birthday is the day we fly to Bali, we would do something before we left. I asked my boss at work if we could use our Spa - the hot tub and sauna. I would decorate and set up the relax room just like I do a high tea for clients but do it for the parents and Ryan.
So we went to this Gluten Free Café called 'Alternative Bites' and seen the most amazing birthday cakes! (Seriously) When I first looked at them, I thought aw they are filled with fruit, no wonder they are Gluten Free… nah - its chocolate truffle with strawberries on the top haha. Sold! We grabbed some decorations, place names and food since the day we were doing it was a Sunday and everything would be closed/opening later.
We also decided to have a little Christmas dinner whilst the Parents were here. Mum had sent me Xmas decorations and crackers, before she arrived so I thought this would be perfect. The butchers in Claremont do an award winning Beef & Guinness Pie - we have had it before, it's amazing! - So we decided to get one of those, we picked up two Gluten Free pies for Stephen from Alternative Bites and invited Nick and Cheryl down to join in the 'festivities'.
Now all this excitements over - its time for BALI!! Weeeeeeeee!
