It was time for the Australian Grand Prix.... AAAAHHHHH! It was held at Albert Park so it was so so easy to get to. They ran free trams for ticket holders on race days which was awesome! Across from Flinders they had ticket stations and Formula 1 cars set up for you to go see and take photos of. I had a 4 day general admission ticket. Lesley had been living in Sydney with a friend so she came to stay in Base with me pre-Melbourne so we could check out and travel together. Sydneys rail service is awesome - super reliable and frequent. So we used this to get to the domestic airport for the flight to Melbourne - it was only $14 and took you right into the terminal.
