19th November -
We got up, grabbed a baguette for brunch and headed to Kuang Si waterfall on a Tuk Tuk. It took us about 30-45 minutes to get there.
Once we got there, we started walking through what looked like a jungle and we came across a bear sanctuary. There were really cute massive black bears lying basking in the sun. They were loving life.
We carried on walking past waterfalls and walked to the highest point of the waterfall which was breathtaking. It was massive!!! Something you see out of a movie. We got a few photos taken in front of it and then headed back down to the swimming areas of the waterfall.
Me and Hannah decided to brave it and jump straight in off a rock! I feel like I'm slowly overcoming my fear of heights so I was very proud to accomplish that! We chilled in the pool before realising that there were fish in the water eating the dead skin on our feet. It was freaking me out!!! So I had to get out and sit on a rock. A few minutes later after sitting on the rock, something bit me on the bum and I screamed! No more chilling by the waterfall..
There was also a swing by the waterfall. So we had a go and swung in like Tarzan which was great fun!
When we got back from the waterfall, we arranged our night bus to Vientiane (the capital of Laos) for the next day and then headed out later on for what turned out to be another very messy night.
