10th March - We rose early as we were going to Six Flags - a roller coaster theme park! Our hostel were doing a deal today for a shuttle and ticket for $45 which was a bargain! We got there before the gates opened (always a first) and ran to the biggest roller coaster we could find! The first roller coaster was one where you were lying down on your front - the whole way!! The park had the most amazing roller coasters I've ever been on, and for once.. There were no queues! Hurrah! We managed to do 5 rides before having lunch. After lunch I managed to get a beastly splinter in my thumb - it was huge, so off to the medical centre I went. Haha! We spent the whole day at the park till it closed, finishing with the best ride of the day: a 5d roller coaster. We were pretty unsure what that meant, but after we knew exactly - it turned in every single direction possible! And the ride even started with you lying on your back; sh**ting myself was an understatement. But as soon as we got off, we went on again. When we got back that evening, we had a nap and got ready to go out for our last night in LA. Hannah, Meech, Tommy (a guy who'd just moved into our room) and I just went to a little bar nearby our hostel and despite not drinking a lot, we managed to get pretty intoxicated. I only know this because I dropped a piece of pizza on the floor and ate it afterwards; Hygiene clearly goes amiss when I'm drunk!
