Hey everyone!! Thought I would put something up here as havent for a while. I'm still working in the centre of Melbourne, stuffing envelopes with disconnection letters, I'm a popular lady- ha ha!! Went to Phillip Island with Nic and her Japanese teacher at the weekend. We went to 'the Nobbies', a less dramatic version of the needles, but bloody windy!! (and cold!) The next stop was a winery where we did some wine tasting (have decided this is the career i want!!). In the evening we went to watch the Fairy Penguins come in from the sea and up the beach to their burrows, we spent about an hour sat on the beach in the freezing cold but eventually hundreds of these little penguins waddled up the beach and right past us, they were so cute! Unfortunatly we couldn't take pictures so you'll have to imagine them - they were about a foot tall and in groups of 20-30! Aside from that I've just been enjoying the good bars and cafes here and wishing it wasn't getting colder...pushing 18degrees today, don't know how i'm coping - hee hee! The Grand Prix was here this weekend, as I'm sure all the guys will know! However I didn't go, but Nic did meet Michael Schumacher in a restaurant! Melbourne is a lot quieter now as the games have finished and winter is coming, it shows by the fact there is now only 4 of us in the 2 bedroomed flat!!
