...So...the next morning I said a sad bye to all my new friends from the dive centre and to Phi Phi (although I reckon I will be back!!) and headed to catch the ferry to Krabi. I caught a bus to Penang with no one else who spoke English until the border, where a South African guy, Jason, who was on the visa run from Phi Phi joined us...at last some company! We got dropped off at 8pm in Penang and managed to find a grotty but cheap (less than $4 a room) guesthouse...however when we left someone said it could get noisy as it was a popular place with lady boys. It was then that I decided to buy my ticket to KL and leave the next morning! We found a travellers bar and made sure we consumed a few beers to ensure a decent nights sleep! And so this morning I got on another bus, this time it was a luxury one and I was yet again the only backpacker, and now I am in Kuala Lumper. This place is big, busy & hot! But I found a guesthouse thats a bit cleaner and at least I have my own bathroom. Im going to do the touristy thing and head to the towers tomorrow. Missing you all lots and lots!!
