Hey! So here I am in the centre of KL trying to catch up on emailing and photos! The past few weeks in Thailand have been amazing and I was really sad to say bye to it for the last time (well on this trip anyway!!) After Phuket I went back to Phi Phi for a few more days and as you all know went diving at Hin Daeng & Hin Muaeng where I saw a whale shark! It was awesome, they are beautiful creatures. It was a shame we didnt see any Mantas, they are also amazing! I also got to use an underwater scooter that propells you along so you can dive like James Bond! Spent most of my time back on Phi Phi enjoying the sun and hanging out with the dive crew in the evenings, but on the last day I went to Maya Bay, where the beach was filmed. We went about 3pm so it wasn't too busy, took a few drinks, a frisby, and perhaps the coolest longtail boat driver ever! He had tunes blaring out his wooden longtail from a car stereo! Anyway we chilled out on the beach, snorkelled and explored and for a while we had the whole place to ourselves! Then we took the boat round to a dive spot called Palong and watched the sun set. It has to be one of the best days of my trip so far! TBC...
