Hello everyone thank you so so much for the birtthday messages! i'm just recovering from a rather wild night last night! also, we've realised that we haven't uploaded any photo's for a hell of a long time, so i'm just in the process of doing that aswell, so check out all the new photo's i'm guna add!!
right.......i need to pick up from where i left off last time, which was....an overnight bus to Hoi An?! me thinks! well....we eventually arrived in Hoi An at the early hour of 6am, Liv stayed with the bags whilst i jetted off on a moped looking at quite a few various hotels and places to sleep for a few nights!, eventually finding something we ventured out to see what we could find and also to try and find somewhere to get some TAILOR made clothes!! we found a few places and organised for our garments to begina being made! Liv went a bit all out and got a VERY nice green corsetish type top, a flowy dress like top, a very nice evening dress, a gorgeous white fluffy jacket! i got a nice evening, casual jacket, which Liv bought me for my b'day and a nice black parker for those cold English winters! we also went swimming, bought a jug of Mojito cocktail at about 2pm and got rather drunk by the river early cos we were a bit bored, hired some bikes and cycled round Hoi An lookin at all the arious bits and bobs it has to offer! WEalso sorted out another bus to take us to Hue just up the coast! we had to go back and forth between many tailors in order to get our clothes refitted and touched up, running around like headless chickens in order to get everything sorted out in time before we left.
Eventually after 2 days we left Hoi An with our new wardrobe all sorted out and made our way to Hue, a few hours later and we arrived, we decideed to stay in Hue for about 5 hours before getting an overnight bus to Hanoi as there wasn't that much to see in Hue!
The overnight bus was the worst journey i've EVER been on, we went with a different tour opperator to the one we had come all the way to Hue with and it was a bismall! the coach was jammed with people, and i was pickiing up random by-standers on the side of the road! and we had to spend 15 hours on it! with the dirver honking his horn every 2 seconds!! OMG i cuda killed him!! anyway we evetually arrived in Hanoi, sleep deprived and hungry, to step off a bus into a hord of men, shouting 'TAXI, TAXI!' 'sir..i have very good hotel, wud u like to come see?' even after repeatedly telling them no, they still think they have a glimor of hope in that u may suddenly change ur mind and say yes?! bizarre! we found a gorgeous gorgeous hotel, pretty much newly opened to spend a few nights for my birthday in! anyway i'm guna leave this little (probably huge) blog here and let u rest ur heads for a bit and open up a new one for our time in Hanoi!
lota lota love to EVERYONE!!! xxxxxxxx
