Hey all, hows it all going back in the UK?!?!

we've managed to make it to Chiang Mai up in the north, after coming from the south in Ko Samui, one taxi, one bus, one boat, then the bus again, then an overnighttrain, followed by a public bus, then a taxi, one tuk tuk, an overnight bus and then a taxi later we arricved safe and sound in Chiang Mai, a bit tired though! we luckily managed to find cheap accomodation very quickly! we went out and had a browse around the local area after having a wee nap! found the bar of Tia, our friend from the Chill Out Bar in Tonsai, that his brother owns, he's just as crazy as his brother! we've also seen the moat around the whole city, which will no doubt be used during the 'Songkram' which to you and me is a 5 day country wide water fight!! can't wait, guna be wellllllll good! we're guna head up to Chiang Rai tomorrow after we've hired a jeep for a few days, potter around taking in the sights and sounds of the north! Liv wants to do a Thai Massage course, so whilst she does her girly bit, i'm guna try my hand at Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing!) than we'll head back for our massive 5 day water fight, before hopefully heading off on a 3/4 trek, but we've got to go and sort that iout ina bit, we're just trying to sort our flights out to Vietnam, which wer'll go for about 3 weeks, hopefully flying in to Hanoi and flight back out of Ho Chi Minh to Bangkok, or vice versa?!?! so it's pretty much all systems go from our end truna sort everything out oursleves, booking agencies are just a tad too expensive!
