Helllooooooooo!!

 We're now In Hampi, the most amazing place I'vce ever been. It's got such a great vibe here and is sooo chilled out. It has huge boulders which seem to float on top of one another.. it's a holy place so....no alcohol..although we hunted down some beer!

we had our first taster of motorbikes yesterday (not the big ones... they're for big girls!) and went exploring..some of the roads ar dirt tracks and full of rocks so we did pretty well to manage it all as we're learner bikers! but we saw so many more things. We found the best spot on the lake and went swimming...however we did bump into a nasty in the water... there was a dead buffalo's head floating near which we didn't see (only smell!) until we were swimming next to it...arrggh! then as we jumped off the rocks I jumped straight into some more rocks and mangled my foot (i'm ok now though!)..typical!

we found another spot which was soo cool that they're ended being so many people joining us we had to move on again. after driving though rice fields and fields of banana trees and running out of petrol twice (!) we headed back exhausted. There's not a lot to do in the evenings except eat and play cards, which we seem to do every day!

there's two parts to Hampi, the first part and across the river is 'the other side'. we're staying on  the other side as it's nicer but we went across today, got more bikes, walked across acres of boulders to find somewhere to swim and did some shopping! so another great day. we're going back across tomorrow to barter some more! great stuff.

we're staying in a hut, and have to shower outside...you'd be soo proud.. I shower with bugs..bet you didn't think you ever hear that!

anyway off home now, had too many kingfishers and need to sleep! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
