Well, we arrived In Bangalore, the three of us...our friend Karine decided to come with us. It was another monster train journey but the overnighters are pretty good as you sleep through most of the journey and also save on a nights accomodation! We all had top sleepers which was good so we could chat together still...it still feels like I'm on a school trip sometimes!

Bangalore is known for being one of the most modern cities on India..and also for it's shopping malls and swish lounge bars...all of which we were looking foward to!

We did the usual thing of: one person stays with the bags and the other two go off and find a room..it works well if there's more than two of you as you don't get hassled as much without your backpack! The moment you walk through a city with it...you're like fresh meat and you get hassled and followed everywhere...and of course the touts are all on commission for their overpriced hotels!

Anyway we headed straight off for some exploring and noticed straightaway some famous shop names, such as Levi's, Reebok, Adidas etc they even had an Apple shop with the cutest Nano's in pink and electric blue!

So shopping over we decided a good night out was in order and we headed off to find a lounge bar...we ended up in a bar which is supposed to four different themes in each corner..Wild West, Manhattan and a couple of others..anyway it all looks exactly the same...we had to ask which one we were in! the drinks are very expensive and it looked like our chances of a long night out were slim on those prices..plus the cricket...bloody cricket was on everywhere and it's all they talked about..wich we'd beaten them..that would've shut them up.ha!

we ended up in a really super cool bar called 'Spin' which was decked out in white leather furniture, white walls...basically white everything...lovely looking place, the only thing was it was a Monday night..so only a few people..mainly scanky old men and it was soooooo cold in there..the air con was on arctic levels!!! We ended up having a really good nightm, ordering loads of drinkls and getting our bill paid for by some guy who's birthday it was! how good was that! I also got shown around the whole club..met the manager and was given free membership (totally useless for me of course!) but it was fun, had a little boogie too!

That was basically Bangalore...shopping malls and Lounge Bars!
