we've been in Arambol for just over a week now....and this the best place so far. we know quite a few people here now, but we still like to flitter from person to person rather than stick in a group..it keeps it interesting! we've found the most amazing beach hidden around the cliffs...it has a sweet water lagoon on one side with a backdrop of lush green hills and the sea on the other...it's beautiful..the water's soooo hot too! we've been there a couple of times but the weather has turned again so it's been chucking it down for the last 48 hours ..i'm surprised we haven't floated away!! so we've made plans to move on, on Thursday to Panjim (Panaji) then we have to catch a sleeper train (9hrs) to Hampi from Margoa at 7.15am....early!!..that'll be us leaving Goa then. I'm would have liked to have seen Palolem....there's been mixed feelings over it...but it's basically a building site, so I think we'll hit the beaches in Kerala instead! what else can i tell you.... mmm.. well I've had my first bout of food poisining thankfully it only lasted 48 hours (long enough!), my thigh muscles are getting stronger and lisa's hair looks increasing like dreadlocks every day (hilarious!). After that we'll head go through Karnataka hitting Bangalore, and Mysore for sure..not sure about the rest but in the general direction on Keral.
