Tuesday 9th February.

Checking out day again. Once we had done that we got the shuttle down to the centre again, which is only a ten minute drive. Went to do some laundry and whilst it was cleaning we walked to a cafe round the corner for breakfast. On the way back to pick our laundry up we saw the Swedish guys from our Fraser Island group, Emil Emil, Seb, Max and Paulina. We stopped to chat to them and they were saying they were heading to some survival trip which definitely didn't sound like my kind of thing. On the way back to the shuttle we bumped in to Ciara from Fraser Island too, and stopped to chat to her too. We went back and chilled out by the pool for the afternoon, reading my book and enjoyed the sun. Later on once we had showered we decided to make some pancakes as it was pancake day back home. We quickly realised that no other nationalities had heard of this so we were the only ones making them. We made friends with James from England and he was chatting away and joining in with our pancakes. Once we had finished eating we got the shuttle down to the bus stop and sat and waited for an overnight greyhound bus we were catching to Airlie beach. Sara from Fraser also was waiting for it so we spoke to her. The bus was half an hour late, and once we got on about 22:00 we bumped in to Julia again on there. We seem to see people we know everywhere we go now, which is nice as it feels more homely. We got settled on the bus and went to sleep.
