Day 85 - 2nd Apr

Woken up bright and early as breakfast was at 6.30am, we sailed for the first part of the morning so we had a chance to sunbathe on the deck of the boat. The first place we moored was just off the coast of Whitehaven Beach. It was absolutely stunning, so perfect, the sand was completely white and the sea was so clear. We got to spend a couple of hours here on the beach. D and I we to do a little introductory scuba lesson just in the shallow water, basically as they were trying to sell us some diving courses, we did it for a laugh but didn't do any of the other scuba stuff. After a while we had to go back onto the boat and had some lunch, and did some more sailing up to Luncheon Bay. Once we were there we moored again and went onto the beach there, beach wasn't as nice as Whitehaven but still beautiful. We got to do some snorkelling off the beach here, which was really good, the water was so clear and there were such colourful coral around us and some cool fish. We stayed out in the water for ages just swimming around the coral, had to head back to the boat after a while. We moored here for the night, had a shower which could only be 1 minute!! We perfected a system though so we could wash our hair; we just kept on turning the shower on and off and lathering up, was actually quite funny! After dinner we sat out on the deck chatting to everyone, playing some drinking games and chatting to some of the crew, everyone was really nice.
