Day 38 - 15th Feb - Today we fly to Oz, before we flew we had a little time so went and had a little wander around Christchurch. Then off to the airport where we actual ran into a few of the people from the tour, was nice to have a little catch up and a final goodbye before we flew. Not really looking forward to the flight as is with Jetstar (poor airline), although the flight was only a couple of hours and as soon as we got on the plane we pretty much fell aslee...

Day 37 - 14th Feb - Last day of the Tour!! ON the bus for the last time back to Christchurch! Journey same as usual, bit weird that the tour is finishing though, 2 weeks have gone so quickly in NZ! Back to Hostel life, no more luxury of hotels and lodges!! Got to our hostel quickly got ready and headed for our last meal with everyone on the tour and night out in Christchurch. Day 36 - 13th Feb - Disembarked the boat early and headed back on the coach, dropped a few people off back to Queenstown, then onto Lake Ohau. On the way to Lake Ohau we got to play bus olympics, which got pretty violent and involved Nathan screaming out random items which we had to get to the back of the bus and then to the front as quickly as possible, in 2 teams! Day 35 - 12th Feb - Left Queenstown and off to Milford Sound today, ready for our night on a boat! Journey was pretty funny, visited k*** and Egglingotn Flats, where the bus was stopped and the driver (Eddy) and tour manager (Nathan) ran off the bus to 'the Sound of Music' blaring out and danced, twirled and pranced about on the flat ala Julie Andrews! Day 34 - 11th Feb - Up early to go white water rafting on the shotover river. Again into the attractive wet suit get up, although this time it was the 3 of us looking as good as each other! All of us were in a delicate state to say the least, not really a great idea, but i think almost everyone who came rafting was hungover!
