Day 35 - 12th Feb - Left Queenstown and off to Milford Sound today, ready for our night on a boat! Journey was pretty funny, visited k*** and Egglingotn Flats, where the bus was stopped and the driver (Eddy) and tour manager (Nathan) ran off the bus to 'the Sound of Music' blaring out and danced, twirled and pranced about on the flat ala Julie Andrews! Too Funny! Had a quick little nature walk on the way too, before we boarded the Milford Wanderer our little sailing boat and accommodation for the night! Cabin was sooo small but it was only a night. In the late afternoon before dinner I went kayaking around the sound and for a little swim off the boat, the other 2 went on a speed boat ride. Had a good dinner, and spent the rest of the night piping and playing scrabble.
