Day 51 - 28th Feb - Woke up to the glorious weather of Sydney - it was absolutely pouring down with rain! We still spent the day in Sydney city centre, although a lot of the views weren't so good. We went to a lot of the tourist spots, headed to Circular Quay, by the Harbor and the Opera House. Had a walk around the Harbour, to the Opera House. It was absolutely massive although it wasn't white, it was grey, didn't know if that was more to do with the weather than the building. Then to escape the rain we went to the Museum of Contemporary Art, they had a really good exhibition on aboriginal art and bark paintings, and one which I thought was rubbish it was basically a lot of canvases with dots on them. After we went to 'The Rocks' an old colonial area of Sydney, we walked around the historic district which was actually nice as the rain had stopped!
