Day 63 - 11th Mar - After our relaxing evening we thought we should have a more active day, so we decided to walk from our lodge all the way down past main beach and along the coast towards the lighthouse at the end. We walked down the coastal path, which was really beautiful and really relaxing as most of the time we were walking along the beach. The only break we had was when we pitched up on a small secluded beach near the lighthouse and capeByron. We probably walked for about 4 hours in total that day, including the walk back along the coast to the lodge, but it didn't feel like it at all. Back to the lodge for dinner then out in Byron town for a night out. During the day Angie had ran into 2 Danish girls that we met on Contiki so we all planned to meet that night to go out too. we went to one of the few bars in Byron called Cheeky Monkeys, it was funny for the night but really reminded me of the bars in Greece or Spain, it was heaving with backpackers and they were playing games to win drinks. Let's just say none of us were willing to participate in any of them, but I think all the males in the bar were enjoying them. Had a really funny night, and was good to see the Danish girls again.
