Day 164: we arrived in Bangkok at 07:00 and made our way to our hostel. We are only staying in Bangkok for one night before heading south, so we didn't have time to do much so we just had some food and went to the cinema and watched les miserables.

Day 165 - 166: this morning we caught the train to Chumpon. This journey only took six hours and we arrived in champhon by mid afternoon. There isn't a lot to do in champion, people mainly visit this town just to get the ferry across to the islands. We spent our time there organising ferries and hotels for our time on the islands.
