Day 173-175: today we left koh phangan and took the ferry across to koh samui. Koh samui is the biggest of the island within the gulf of Thailand so it took a while to reach our hotel once the ferry docked. After checking into the hotel we had some lunch and relaxed on the beach in the evening we hired a scooter and headed into the main town of chewang. Over the next couple of days we just chilled on the beach and used our scooter to explore the island. We went to big buddha, a snake farm and a couple of other smaller bays.
