Day 99: wellington is a very wet and windy city! But as citys go it pretty good. We spent most of the day in the te papa museum, new Zealand's national museum. The museum is huge with five floors of some interesting exhibits plus there is free wifi so we filled most of our day in the museum! In the evening we treated ourselves to a take away curry!

Day 100: Today we had a bit of a sleep in before heading out into the city. In the morning we walked around the city and then climbed up mount victoria for panoramic views of the city and the bay of Wellington. After lunch we caught a bus out to the suburbs where the weta cave is located. The weta company are the creators of all the special effects in the lord of the rings and hobbit films, and the weta cave is a behind the scenes look at their creations. In the evening we went out for a few drinks with some people off our bus.

Day 101: this morning we caught the ferry across from Wellington to the south island.....
