Day 67: We arrived in Mexico City around 10am and headed to our hostel. The hostel is really good, close the main historic centre, clean en-suite bathrooms and a really good breakfast! after we cheked in and had a power nap we went out for the afternoon and exlpored the area and went to the main square, the Zocalo. Which is the the biggest city square in the world and where the big catherdral and parliment palaces are in Mexico City.
Day 68: We took a bus tour around the Historic Centre of Mexico City. This took three hours to visit just this small part of the city. Mexico City is so vast it would be impossible to visit all the areas within it. On the bus tour we seen most of the major tourist attractions there are within the city, like the Zocalo, chaltupec park and all the historic monuments.
Day 69: We took the subway to Chaltupec Park, Mexico Citys equivlant to New Yorks Central Park. We walked around the lakes and wooded areas of the park and then visited the Zoo. The zoo was FREE and probably the best zoo I{ve been too, it has tigers, hippos, rhions, everything including pandas! After some lunch we visited the National History Museum which is located within the Palace of MaxiMillion, the old Emperor of Mexico. The Place is within the park at the top of a hill so we got some good views of Mexico City, but unfortunately the exhibits within the Museum were all in Spanish so I couldnt tell you much about the history of Mexico.
Day 70: Today we didnt do too much just wondered around town and did a little bit of shopping as we were in need of some new clothes! In the evening we went to watch a mexican wresteling match, Lucha Libre. This was a good night and we even got some mexican wresteling masks of our own.
Day 71: We got our flight down to Chile......
