OMG Iguazu Falls was amazing!

Day 9: Arrived in Puerto Iguaza after 20hours on a bus, 2 hours late! slept most of the way so went really quick! Strange leaving the huge busy noisy city of Buenos Aires and waking up in the green rural areas of Northern Argentina. We were picked up from the bus station and taken to our hostel, which had a pool . Again the hostel was really good. We decided to take a trip into the main town and have a look around. At the bus stop we met a fellow brit, called olly, so stayed with him the rest of the day walked around town and down to the river. Then headed back to the hostel for some drinks and an early night!

Day 10: We were picked up from the hostel at 8am and taken to the Iguazu Nationale park. We spent the whole day exploring the falls and the park, the size and beauty of the Falls is incredible. It looks like the kind of place you only see in films, in fact it looks like Avatar was filmed there. We also took a boat ride along the river and into the `splash´ zone of the falls! We thought we might get a bit wet but we came off completely drenched, so worth it though! Later that night we met up with olly and had dinner and went into town for a couple of drinks. We weren´t to sure if we would make it in one piece as the bus driver was either chatting to his mate or texting, then he got off the bus for a wee and left us to look after the bus with the keys and all the money!

Day 11: Another early start today as we were picked up at 8 to the Brazilian side of the falls. We were only here for half a day as the Brazillian side only has a small percentage of the falls but has panoramic views, so did get some good photos. After the falls we crossed the border into Brazil and checked into to our hostel in Foz do Iguassu. The Hostel is,again really nice, its more of a small guest house than a hostel. The cleanest and quietest we have stayed in so far.

Day 12: Spent the day relaxing and recovering from a busy week. Its mad to think how far we have travelled in such a short period of time.

Day 13: 15 hour bus trip to Florianopolis to come.....
