Today was a loooooong day- we got up at the crack of dawn and had a huge list of things to get through before the end of the day- including going to the Andalusian Government to get a residence card and moving into our apartment...not really 5 minute jobs!!
Me, Annie and Sam went together in order to make it less boring and I was surprised at the security on the door! We had to get our personal items scanned and go through an airport-type machine...and even though we did this, they seemed so chilled and layed back about it. Spanish for ya!
We had to queue, but only for an hour and then had some other processes to go through before finally getting our cards! It took a lot less time than we'd anticipated.
But then came the big move....everything was going smoothly until we found the million and one flaws with the place....the fridge and freezer wouldn't work, the shutters wouldn't shut, the extension lead kept sparking at us.....one toilet was playing up and nothing has been fixed yet! It could be worse though, at least the internet works!
Tomorrow we plan on going to the gym and hope to get everything fixed!!
