'The best laid plans' - while travelling around Australia it is my intention to do some nursing shifts and Jai will pick up construction work. Unfortunately as I had not nursed since 2010, I was unable to join a nursing agency until I got some shifts under my belt. As a result Jai continued on to Biloela (as planned) and I stayed in Hervey Bay to do some nursing shifts. A big thank you to Hervey Bay Hospital for taking me on.

We arrived in Hervey Bay on the 24th January to spend a couple of days catching up with family and friends and doing a major post beach clean of the truck and caravan. Jai managed to fit in a spot of fishing (and set some crab pots) with his brother before it was time to pack up and head for Biloela (to catch up with more family). Unfortunately I had to stay behind initially to do some nursing shifts (see blog 7 February 2016).
