Crystal Cascades - stopped in for a refreshing swim. A beautiful spot and a must do (regularly).

Port Douglas - time to start exploring now we have settled in. Beautiful drive to Port Douglas (hugs the coastline). The water looks inviting.

Jai started work on the Tuesday but had an unfortunate accident on day 3 (lacerated tendons left hand) which required emergency surgery and will see him out of action for at least 2 months. I started work in the Intensive Care Unit on Monday 11th April on a 3 month contract.

Monday 4th April saw us check into Cairns Holiday Park for 3 months (minimum). A great caravan park (clean, friendly staff, nice residents) and only 1.7kms from the hospital (i.e. walk to work). We managed to secure a great site with a garden directly in front of our annexe providing some privacy. We are looking forward to being settled for a while.
