Today is my last day in Airlie Beach and it's lovely here. We had a bbq by the beach last night with some cheap Goon (wine from a box) and played cards and chatted which was really nice. Then some people headed back and a few of us went on to a bar and then a club. We ended up back at the room at about 3.30am, I was shattered this morning. Randomly I saw the German girl I'd met in Cairns in our hostel too which was nice.

This morning, I did some washing (fun fun) and then we just chilled out by the lagoon and had a picnic.

It's been a very chilled out day in the sun which was needed before a 7am bus tomorrow. A few of us are dividing up which is a bit of a shame but I guess that must happen a lot along the way. We're just about to book our Fraser Island trip which involves about 10 of us on a 4wd self-drive trip which should be fun. I think tonight we're going to get some food and I'm going to stay away from the alcohol I think. Tomorrow is a trip to the cattle station which will be funny.

Hope you are all ok. Gutted to see Man U had lost, rubbish! The beach above I actually went to on my day trip yesterday, absolutely stunning! The beach is silicone and when it's wet, you can clean your silver jewellery with it!
