Hey,

So I need to upload some new photos at some point as this one is just one they had on their library. Anyway, we all went out for dinner on our last night in Krabi which was fun. Although the 'guide' keeps taking us to places without air con so it's all very hot and sticky. We went for a few drinks to a bar but were aware we had to be up to meet at 7.30am for a coach to Penang so got an early night. Although a few of them decided to go shopping which turned into an all-nighter! Gutted I missed out but also glad to get more sleep, ha!

The coach journeys ended up being about 11 hours. We had one coach/mini bus and then swapped into another one to cross the Malaysian border where we all had to get out with our bags and everything, it was a bit annoying. Oh and the first bus had almost come to a standstill on the motorway, something in the engine was beeping but the driver kept going and we seemed to survive although I think we all thought we'd break down or die at some point he he. Anyway so once we'd crossed the border, etc, we came to Penang. It's not quite what I expected and is very run down but yesterday we had a bit of a wander round. Got a bus to Penang Hill where I decided to get a photo taken with a python round my neck, which no one else would do. Another to tick off for the trip I guess. I was fine until its head started to wriggle in my hand ha! Anyway, it was fine and I was 700 odd metres up the hill too so possibly another fear conquered, hmm maybe not. I'll try to get photos up here soon anyway. That turned into a bit of a ramble.

Then we went out for dinner, a curry, mmm! And then went to a bar and had happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails :) Then went to a club/bar thing where they had good music but we were a few of the only Westerners there and no one was dancing so by 1ish we decided to come home. Now I'm just waiting for our next coach to take us to the Cameron Highlands which will apparently be much colder, boo! Although it's probably a good thing, I seem to be peeling on my nose and forehead, not a good look!
