Lin & Phil - Out and About in the Big World...
Had a fantastic journey to Cebu on an ageing twin prop plane ( a CN-235 if anyones interested!) - the air-con units let out smoke for the whole journey but it got us there safely!
After lazing around the beach for a few days we got our arses into gear and hired our own taxi for a sightseeing tour! This was the only choice - there aint no tour companies! We saw the chocolate hills but unfortunately i was very dissapointed when i found out they weren't made of Chocolate - theyre actually 1268 cone shaped mounds about 100 metres high - its a really bizarre sight! Later on we saw the worlds smallest primate called the Tarsier (probably not spelt like that!) theyre so cute and about the size of a hand, infact theyre eyes weigh more than theyre brains! We also chartered a small boat and went along the Lomboc river to a big waterfall - our boat was nearly overtaken by small pirates trying to climb onboard from the water!
