hello people, for those of you who are under the illusion that we're backpacking - we are not! well not until we get to Australia anyway. Decided to spend somemore money and went to a posh resort in the perhentian islands - but it was worth it. The breaky was awesome and we took full advantage of it. We managed to find Nemo - well about 20 of them actually. Even though it was raining we decided to hire a sea kayak, however, as soon as we left land the rain clouds dispersed and we ROASTED. The effort was worth it though and an hour later we found 2 completely deserted beaches with clear waters to snorkel in.
