The time had come to let the memories continue at Magical Kingdom for the day...it's Princess time. And our last stop of Disney parks. Very fitting, don't ya think? Feeling much fresher this time 'round after the most perfect beauty sleep, which was needed. We had a slightly disastrous skype date with Soph Irv before leaving it kept freezing on us...but we got a few minutes of talk time which was good enough so there was a second date on the cards.
Our horse and carriage arrived to take us back to the magical castle. The spell must have been broken somehow as when we got on, it was a manky old bus with poor air conditioning. Not so magical, but at least it got us there.
The parade started once again on our arrival...they just know exactly when we are coming. So we paraded with the characters in dance and song before joining the pirates of the Caribbean on their ship ride through Tortuga. Slightly scary at times but mainly boring. Then it was off to the land we had been waiting for... Fantasyland. This is where the magic happens. We rode through the forest of snow White...met the seven dwarfs. For some reason the ride stopped at the end, where Snow White and the Prince kiss, for about 20 seconds...it was a bit awkward to say the least, not really into PDA. They needed to get a room or we needed to keep moving! Haha. We rode around the hundred acre wood with Pooh and friends and took a tour in The Haunted Mansion which i had to drag Liz on as she was pretty freaked out. We had a ride on the merry-go-round, but unfortunately our horses didn't jump off and ride the fields like in Mary Poppins... slightly disappointed there, I was hoping for a horse race or something. Wishful thinking. A bit later Tinkerbell kindly sprinkled her fairy dust on us and our ship as we flew over Neverland.
It was the perfect ending to a magical two weeks at Disney. We will miss the sparkles and Magic that is Disney World but the weekend had began and the parties were calling our names. So it was time to head back and get prepared for the night ahead.
On the monorail back to Epcot Barbie and her bit on the side were sitting opposite. And we had the not so beautiful view of his todjer hanging out of his trousers...put the mouse back in the house buddy it's a public area....jees!
Aled joined us at our bus stop where the formation of two queues had already started...don't worry I won't rant again... All I will say is some people are just sooo bloody RETARDED!! Get to the back of the line not plonk your ass right at the front as if you've been there for hours. Well we squished our way on again anyway that was the main thing.
The night started brilliantly lots of laughs, drinks were flowing and we had even bought some princess cards(keeping in the spirit of Disney) to play some drinking games. We got a bit of crazy snap on the go before starting the lethal game that is quick ring of fire. Time passed and a few vodkas later it was time to go out...or so we thought. There was a slight issue to do with Liz's passport...it was gone. We turned the room upside down looking for it. We asked reception four times if they'd had it handed in. Each time the answer was no. An hour had passed and it was nowhere to be seen, so Liz went to ask reception to phone the police to report it missing. Then they asked her what it looked like and miraculously they had it. It was with reception all along. Why lie about having it? To be fair Liz was adamant she hadn't lost it and that she had put it in her bag in the room. It was the thieving maids that took it and then handed it in, weirdos... I bet it was payback on Liz for writing a note asking them to make sure they clean as there are bedbugs and she'd been bitten. Karma that is...it came back to bite her on the bum. There will be a complaint though... why the hell take her passport, if they were annoyed with her and wanted her gone that's the one thing she would need to leave...idiots!
After all the palavour with the passport doing a runner we still went out even though it was quite late. Aled had sobered up so bailed on the night and stayed in watching films with some pizza. Me and Liz on the other hand were on a mission. We had our bottle filled with an alcoholic beverage to last us the walk there and we were on it like sonic.
We went straight to 'The Groove' as we only had two hours of partying left. The nights a bit of a blur but i know we met so many randoms.
We got asked to VIP by two strange girls. It was a boys birthday party up there. He said to me that the girls were going round asking pretty girls to join them on stage, so we should feel privileged. Well I did for a second, until I looked around...then I was slightly offended. They were all a bunch of gimps. The boy who's birthday it was started chatting up Liz...and wait for it guys...he was in fact a ginger. Shock to the system? It was for me...she was actually talking to him. Haha.
It all got a bit weird on stage so we grabbed our free drinks and ran to the dancefloor. Where it got even weirder. We started dancing and people just formed a circle around us...and then dancing inbetween us...so again we just ran off. Well ran the majority of the way home after that. It was the end of the night anyway so pretty much home time. On the way back Liz decided to randomly sit in some bushes for 5 minutes...maybe she was taking a break I'm not sure. Then for some reason I thought it would be fun to hug a tree...don't ask me why because I have no idea. After some strange occurrences we eventually got back and scoffed the leftovers of Aleds pizza before sleep.
We woke up early for miss Irvines skype date and caught up with all the goss her end. Then a lovely catch up with the 'rents and bro before hitting the pool. We jumped right in as it was stupidly hot! We weren't there very long. After a few lengths of the pool we went to skype the sisters Suzie q and Danielle! From now on i will call them Danzannah. Hope that's ok girlies. Hehe. Hilarious skype session with them. Bunch of nutters. I'm not to sure what their mum thinks of me and Liz mind as she heard parts of the convo..she must think we are right nutjobs. Sorry mummy Gleaves.
The bellies were rumbling and TGI Fridays was calling us... We caved and went for a good lunch. Headed back to the pool for the rest of the day...to burn those calories. I got to 40 lengths...not all at once though haha. Pretty much a quick dip, a few lengths then a lie down. That was my routine for about 2hours. Haha. The heat got way too intense after a few hours so we went for an afternoon snooze. Back in the room i noticed that I'd burnt like a b****...bad times! I now look like I am a member of the tomato family. Great stuff. It's not the coolest of looks.
It was a lovely afternoon rest and charged us up for the night ahead. We were ready to roll by 7pm so the pre drinking session was in progress. The card games made a return, and crazy snap began. Such a messy game!
We hit the road and made our way to Universal Walk for the last time. There was a half way to St Patrick's day party going on at the Irish bar. We thought they'd have the rugby on but we could not find one place showing the game... So I didn't get to see my man in action... if you didn't already know, it's Shane Williams by the way. He's scrumptious! We gave up on our search and went to 'the groove' once again.
It was another busy night, lots of people about. We got our drinks in...and I accidentally hit mine over instantly. I blamed it on the barman though and he poured me a new one. It was stupidly strong so I didn't really enjoy it, but I didn't have to pay so all good! Wooo!
We had a little wander and got asked to join this guy and girl for some drinks...they'd bought a whole bottle of Vodka and their friends had bailed on them so who were we to refuse. It would have been rude to say no haha. After a couple of drinks it got a tad awkward...the guy who'd paid $150 for the bottle got asked to remove his hat. He was not happy about this at all...he refused and kept refusing everytime he was told. The manager got involved and some bouncers and they were even ready to call the police...well when we heard Police we used the toilet excuse and legged it. Well we just wanted a nice quiet 'free' drink...no drama...but we just seem to attract it. Typical! We went straight to the dancefloor and boogied the night away. Oh yeah! The night passed by and we began the walk home...and yes on the way we decided it would be a good idea to order a pizza AGAIN!! We are such fatties...but oh it tastes sooooo fricking good! We scoffed and munched until it was completely demolished. It was gone in no time.
Our last day in Orlando... And we had lots to do...our laundry, a bit of shopping, upload some more pics and a visit to Al and the family before packing.
It wasn't the greatest start to the day...we needed quarters to do some laundry and had none...but neither did the hotel or the shop, great news! Plus the washing powder machine ripped us off...it took our money and gave us nothing. So laundry was out of the question until later on. A quick catch up with Princess Simone on FaceTime instantly made our day better. It's important that us princesses keep in touch and keep up to date with all new gossip.
We set off to Downtown Disney to get some prezzies then got the bus to Aled's hotel. We found the hotel quite easily, but his room was a bit more difficult, and we got caught in a downpour of rain looking for it. It rained on us...rained on us hard...we were soaked! We saw a room that looked familiar but instead of knocking on the door Liz started yelling his name...but there was no reply. It was the right room though...they just didn't hear the shouting. I got my last British cup of tea while we were there as we uploaded the remainder of our pictures. It's going to be a while until I get another good cup if tea... Bad times. I took my time and treasured every sip I took. Ha!
We all got a boat back to Downtown Disney where we said our goodbyes to the Edwards clan. It's been awesome...oh yeah...Disney yeah! That's just for you Aldolf... going to miss having y'all 'round. We will have some FaceTime sessions soon though...yeah buddy!
Me and Liz are lone wolves once again ready to start our adventures in Miami. We were pushed for time and had to get back to Epcot for that bloody bus again. We started to get nervous as it was 5.30pm and the queue is usually huge at this time...but we got lucky and were close to the front, not that it really mattered at all. Today was by far the worst! Everyone just pushed and shoved and can you believe it?...two people were actually starting to fight. I couldn't believe my eyes...it was ridiculous. We managed to scramble to a seat so our little legs could rest. Mr Wil-I-am Bailey brightened up the mood and amused us the whole way home with Mean Girls quotes...'I'd like to bake a cake made of rainbows and smiles, and we'd all eat and be happy'....'she doesn't even go here!' ...'do you even go to this school?'...'no I just have a lot of feelings!' and 'I'm sorry people are so jealous of me but I can't help it that I'm popular!' I could go all day with this stuff...hehe. We giggled all the way back to the hotel. Wilamina Cockins!...'boo you w****' for making us miss you more!
Back at the hotel for our last night...can't say I'm going to miss the hotel and it's shuttle transfers much. The only tip the maid is getting is 'Don't steal people's passports!' our washing is on so everything will be clean and fresh for Miami...and we get to watch 'meet the Fockers' whilst packing. Good times!
It's been awesome meeting Mickey and his gang and all the Princesses but now it's time to leave the magic of Orlando behind. We have borrowed some Fairy dust from Tink, which will help us get to Miami safely. Bye Orlando it's been fun!
All thats left for me to say now is...
It's a beautiful night...we're looking for something dumb to do... Oh Miami...me and Liz are on our way to you!
Stay classy
