Our chateau is magnificent -the grounds are beautiful with pool tennis courts table chairs around little private gardens. 18th century building with antiques everywhere. We have a suite on the 1st floor luckily as too many wide steps to climb with heavy suitcases - a sitting room with round dining table chaise lounge writing desk marble fireplace then into our bedroom antique wardrobe gorgeous bedlinen doors opening onto private balcony and bathroom with yellow walls just like monets house -beautiful. Had a swim in the pool - it s 26c today -relaxing around the grounds before going to the local village for cafe. Dinner tonight is at the château - cant wait.
