Uzes is located in the langoudec region - about 8000 odd - a place where one of the roman acquaduct was built to supply water to nimes - 25km away. We are staying in a chateau 4km from the center- arrived in Uzes around 10am what a great village- relaxed arty tree lined streets . We found a thai restaurant - unbelievable - had a delicious lunch - nice and spicy just how we like it.

Our chateau is magnificent -the grounds are beautiful with pool tennis courts table chairs around little private gardens. 18th century building with antiques everywhere.
