Shimmering like a gold lame dress

Our final nite in paris and france has come. We have a hotel room the size of a shoe box but thankfully a balcony and view of the eiffel tower. Champagne on ice - roquefort cheese, olives, prawns and of course the obligatory baguette.Nice way to end our fantastic road trip. A 40 minute train ride and we arrive in saint emillion. A village surrounded by wine châteaus and vineyards. We did a tour of one chateau which was great they had an underground cave system where they kept some wine barrells for 18 months - very unique. We r off to paris for our last night - on the tgv fast train -3hr ride -looking forward to it.

There are fountains in every town village in france - this one in Bordeaux is the most impressive.
