On our last day at Rainbow Beach, we rembered that our free kayaking trip(which we got through booking the Whitsundays and fraser island) was not valid as you had to book it 14 days in advance, something we forgot to do! So we headed to noosa not knowing what to do! After asking around, we found out that Australia Zoo is cheaper to do from noosa than anywhere else. That evening, a massive thunder storm started so we thanked ourselves that we forgot to book Kayaking!

The next morning we were excited about the Zoo, it was a shame that the rain had not stopped from the night before!Australia Zoo is owned by Steve Irwin and his wife Terri so it was pretty cool going where he used to work. We arrived on the bus to take us there where we saw Panda's workmate Luke again so we wandered around the zoo as a big group. The Zoo was good but we noticed a lack of animals (but this was due to the zoo having rescued animals, not animals for show). We got some kangeroo feed and all fed the kangeroos by hand which was fun and we also patted a kaola (they are very smelly!). It was a good day but let down by the weather (although we looked super cool in our ponchos!!).

The next day we left as the rain was still going and we would rather be in a city than a beachy town when it pours down!
