SYDNEY.....THE END......

Blue Mountains...

Panda, Jo and Katherine booked a fabulous trip through Wicked Travel (where Panda worked) to the Blue Mountains! We spent ages in a mini bus to be taken to some outdoor toilets and some wild kangaroos. We learnt a bit of trivial...kangaroo is an aborigional word for 'I don't understand you' when a westerner asked what a kangaroo was! We was then put back on the bus and taken to the Blue Mountains.

We trekked around, stunning views of the mountains and waterfalls...another fact...they are called the blue mountains because the Eucalyptus oil from the leaves give off a blue tinge when the sun penetrates it! We had fun trekking in flip flops across stones and rocks...tip if you visit the blue mountains where trainers!! After that we had lunch and the headed to the famous three sisters...Another story for you!

The three sisters got its name as a witch doctor went into the mountains to hunt down a yetti...like bigfoot! He left his three daughters on a cliff edge. While he was in the mountains the yetti started climbing up the rock to get the three sisters. So the witch doctor aimed his magic stick at them and separated the rocks so that each sister was on a different one. This didn't work and the yetti carried on trying to get the three sisters. So the witch doctor turned them to stone to protect them. But in all the chaos the witch doctor lost his magic wand and couldnt turn them back to humans! So he is said to still be wandering around in the form of a bird in the mountains looking for his wand....hmmmm interesting story!

After the three sisters we went on the scenic railway which is the steepest railway in the world! We went from laying down to sitting up right! Not the best experience but still great fun!! After that we headed home..exhausted...

Then 5 become no more....

We get evicted from our flat much to Phillippa and Katherines dislike! Tom and Jordan fly to the UK on 3rd March!! This results in a very tearful farewell!! Tears are flowing and we are sad to see them go! It was like loosing two limbs in one go! Still we know they are happy to be home with their families!

Katherine gets a job as an au pair! Living with a lovely family! Panda and Jo are off to New Zealand to start our own adventure on 18th March! Panda, Jo and Katherine are headed out tonight for one last farewell...after the last lot of goon is flowing we are sure there will be some more tearful farwells when we loose another limb!! Still not long and we will all be back in the UK causing more mischief...
