Today we ventured to Isla del Sol for the day. The largest island on Lake Titicaca with spectacular views and of course lots of sunshine! We arrived on the island after a very tedious boat journey, the slowest boat I have every been on. To get anywhere on the island we had to climb some really steep Inca steps. We are in Copocabana at the moment on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world. Its strange though its so big it looks like the sea and it seems like we are at sea level. Still struggling with the altitude, yesterday we climbed a hill to watch the sunset and got our of breath after 2 mins of walking. We had to take our time, real lack of oxygen around here.
