Noosa is quite nice, nice beach that we went on a walk along and then we decided to go kayacking, we'd really enjoyed it in NZ but this was on the tidal river near the sea with a strong current and boats to dodge! We got a double and a single one and headed out! I went in the single one 1st and it was such an effort to go anywhere against the current! Also the boat had holes in it at the front and back and I was drenched! It had no cover either! Brett had a go in the single one and did a lot better but Louise wasn't keen on it at all. In the 2 hours we probably managed to get about a 10 min walk away from where we started! I didn't hate it but it wasn't as good as the other time when we were on a peaceful lake and actually had proper equipment! Then people just gave us the boat and the oars and told us to get on with it, they didn't even push us in or tell us anything! The funniest part wsa when Louise was proud she'd stayed dry and then at the end we docked sideways and waves came straight in the boat and she got soaked!!!!!!
Next we drove (through Gympie!!!) to Hervey Bay which will hopefully be our gateway to Fraser Island!
Also I am annoyed! Australia has a bank holiday this weekend for the Queen's birthday! No wonder they voted to keep her in!!!!!!!!!!!! Why don't we have one?!?
