Well we finally made it to our destination just over 5500km later!! Cairns is a pretty small city but there are a lot of people and tourists. our hostel is nice and its absolute luxury to be able to stretch out at night and have a bed! The lagoon is really nice. you can't swim in the sea because of crocodiles and stingers but they have built a free lagoon right next to the beach which isn't heated but is really nice. The temperature here is a lot hotter too and it's very humid. It must be baking in the summer. We drove through loads of banana fields and sugar cane fields on the way here and also stopped off at Josephine falls which were really nice. It's a lot more tropical up here and we've been taking it easy the last 2 days which has been nice. Might even get to try some crocodile this evening for our last meal!

Well it's off to Singapore tomorrow morning and I can't believe Oz is done now as well, it's all going way too quickly for my liking! I just hope malaysia and thailand are as cheap as everyone says they are!!!!!!!!!!
