Lewis-KI-GOR
We had a quiet morning, with bacon and egg for breakfast - we were joined by a shingleback lizard (their head and tail look very similar, so they're also known as a '2-headed lizard').
We packed up and decided to head to 42 Mile Crossing about 100kms south - we arrived and set up camp on a nice grassy area. We got the fishing gear out and drove over the dunes to the beach where it was absolutely blowing a gale! The waves were steamrolling in, but it's treacherous, and not safe for swimming or surfing. We didn't catch any fish of course, but had fun trying.
We were hoping to see some kangaroos as there were droppings everywhere on the grass - Dad got up at around 2am and sure enough, there they were - about 50 of them!
