His platelets are on the up with a reading of 90 but we still have another night to spend here so that another blood test can be done in the morning hoping for a larger increase. We have also been told that this extra day will help to get all our insurance documents sorted so that we can leave in the morning.
In other news, Matt took his first step out of the hospital room today to accompany Char to lunch. And Char gave him a guided tour of the private hospital.
Rich and Jenny arrived in Phuket today so they came for a visit at teatime. It wasn't the best place to first meet but it was great to see them. Our first meal together was sat in the hospital canteen, well that is one we will remember at least. The nurses must have thought we were having a party when they came to check Matt's blood pressure mid game of V69, we are surprised it wasn't high. The nurses also seem to have forgotten about the brimming bottles of dark urine collecting in the bathroom too.
We ate chocolate for the first time in months today as a bit of added home comfort. BONUS.
