With the nurse coming in to monitor and observe every two hours it was pretty hard to sleep. However better than the Dengue taking Matt's body into shock. Always a silver lining.... Char finally got her hot power shower.
When the doctor visited on the morning round he informed us that Matt's platelet count had drop a lot more. 104-81.Not good as the risk of internal bleeding is very high. So it looks like we have a few more nights here.
With Matt stuck in bed Char got out an about the hospital meeting new friends, watching live music (a Thai woman playing classical Thai music in the hospital lobby) and doing our laundry at the 7/11 around the corner. The funniest thing she saw today was how the car park operates. The owner of the car leaves the keys in the ignition and the hand brake off so that the parking attendants can just push the vehicles around.
This afternoon we had a lovely visit from Nick and Erica, they were able to give us some hospital info due to just finishing a stay themselves. It was great to see some familiar faces and it was good to know they were there if anything went wrong.
