Nervous Turkey!
Happy birthday to Char and Amy!
The day started with a Pringles cake, a chorus of 'Happy Birthday' and a nice pile of cards and presents brought over by Rich and Jenny. We spent the morning eating a huge breakfast and coffee and smoothies. Our plan was to go on a boat trip today to celebrate, however with the weather not looking good we sat and waited for a while but then decided to just chance it. Beers were purchased for the boat and Matt spent the day justifying every beer, drink or treat with 'Well I'm just celebrating Char's birthday!' What an awesome day we had....snorkeling, beautiful beaches, seafood BBQ and a lovely sunset. The highlight of the day was as night fell and we were able to jump into the sea with a snorkel and see the amazing bioluminescent plankton. We didn't realise until after that we had done this for both our birthdays this year. As the trip came to an end, the captain announced that he had one more surprise for us and as he poured gasoline into the sea we knew instantly what it was. A terrible fire show on the boat. This guy had been drinking all day so after a few drops of his baton we watched in amazement as he poured gasoline into this mouth for his finale.
The night was spent drinking in reggae bars, followed by the boys new favourite chicken burger.
We are not sure how next years birthdays will compare.
